Very original and easy to install

I have a lot of very nice things to say. I mounted the scope on my 30 carbine, instead of the Nagant as marketed. The turrets had to be readjusted after sighting in to adjust the zero back to center. Very tiny screws! If you decide to do this use caution. The windage adjustment is on the left side which is both a positive for charging handle operation, and a negative for laying across the seat in the truck. It's a negative because the dial turrets are the old style smooth(no clicks) so it will shift if caution is not exercised. As for accuracy the movement is very positive shown by the picture. Once it dials up it holds zero very well. Clarity is very acceptable for a small light weight 4 power scope. I have made two shots at low light on game, and had no trouble picking up my intended target. The Reticle is much larger than I was expecting, it is quite bold, but draws the eye to center very fast, even if your eye sight isn't very good. Excellent product, and I will be purchasing at least two more for personal guns, and a additional two for project guns.

Well made, after viewing YouTube installations of other Mosin scopes assembly was easy. Drill Bit was a little over size for dowels. Bore sight rifle and can't wait to shot it.

Good scope works well. I lost a screw for it and they replaced it fast and free, other than shipping. Good company

Base and mount are steel and quite heavy and sturdy. Plenty of mill end marks on flat areas ...

Good looking and robust scope and fitting, clear optics, good focus. I also barely could see a difference looking at original tube and the one from Red Star Mountain. So it is in general a good copy of original PU scope from WWII. There was thou slight misallignment of reticle position and axis for range and windage which was very pity to find considering overal very good quality and workmanship. Anyway it is great reproduction and my rifle looks great with it. I am satisfied with the purchase.

The scope itself is very nice and is all made out of very strong stuff. The included hardware, drill bit, and tap all work as they should and i had the scope mounted in about 2 hours. Very solid design, and although not explicitly shown in the pictures it does come with lens covers that are very well made.

Excellent reproduction of the original. Got it mounted to my rifle and it holds its zero perfectly. Very clear optics and crisp aiming post. It made the perfect conversion from infantry 91/30 to a PU sniper. The only addition to the package I would recommend would be some form of mounting instructions.�

If your looking to upgrade your 91/30 to a PU Sniper, this worked great for me, please note that it does take a bit of work to get it mounted but totally worth it in the end...
