Glass is clear and I love the fact that it's a first focal plane as it helps kind of eliminate the issue that the originals had with the radicals being super small and fine. I did however have issues with the mount as on my PSL the scope sets super high so I actually swapped out my locking mechanism from my original PSO-1 so it would sit lower and be usable however the bolts holding the scope body to the Mount mechanism or a strange size and took a bit of finding to get a wrench that could be used. I've only got about 20 through 40 rounds on it right now and still need to cite it in but so far everything is looking good. I did a video on my first impressions of the optic and the link below.

Great clarity, excellant customer service from PTO, but the attachment base stop pin and clamp are aluminum, deform after firing, and the optic mount begins to move around. Maintaing zero after 200rds is quite difficult. I mounted my scope on a PSL, more abuse on a scope than an AK, so take my problems with a grain of salt.

I bought 4 of these scopes from your company and I am very pleased with my purchase. You great value is exceeded only by your OUTSTANDING customer service. You had mistakenly shipped a fixed power scope on the first order and I send an email late at night to tell of the mistake, expecting a couple day delay in getting back to me. I could not believe my eyes when less than 5 minutes later I got an email from Sean apologizing for the error and attached was a return label! THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE. A week later Sean notified me he had received the scope sent in error and had shipped a replacement for the one returned. a few days later I had the correct scope. When things go as planned everybody smiles. When mistakes are made, the mark of the outstanding companies is the speed that the mistake is corrected. Your company exceeded my wildest expectations. Kudos!!!!!

I bought 4 of these scopes and am very happy with the quality and customer service I received at Texas Precision Optics. The first scope I ordered came and was a 6x fixed power scope not the 3x9 I ordered. I send an email to your customer service late one evening about the mistake expecting to hear back in a day or so. To my absolute surprise, in less than 3 minutes I had a return email from Sean and an attached return label. Unbelievable. I had no idea this level of customer service existed. I sent the scope back and in a few days had another email from Sean saying the correct scope is on the way. I have bookmarked you on my list of stores I buy from. Overall, this is a great scope and some of the best value I’ve seen. I also own a Russian NPZ-PO 4x24 and a Belarus Belomo POSP 3-9 pro which is 3x the price of this scope.
Compared to the POSP scope this scope ironically has better picture quality. The build quality is better with the Belomo scope but only marginally so. The only reason why I spent the money on the Belomo scope is for the finer turret adjustment and MOST of the Belomo scope has turret adjustment SAME as this texas precision optics scope (only the PRO version is better adjustment but then again, 3x the price).
Unless you are doing bench precision shooting where adjustment finer than 0.5 mil per click matters, this texas precision scope will serve you great. Don’t overpay on Russian/Belarus optics.
My texas precision optic scope is mount on a 22lr and does hold zero despite taking it on and off the scope rail.

Nice scope with PSO traditional stylings. I got the AK mount. The mount had to be adjusted while in position because the two tools that look like two silver shims are not included which makes it a little harder to adjust. But nice scope overall.
